“We stayed in One World Village 3 weeks in June 2014 with our family, including me and my husband, a teenage daughter, grandmom and a friend of ours. We were hoping for a nice, clean and homelike enviroment with cooking possibilities for our family, and still wanted it to be near the beach and other services. We got everything we wished for.
We have stayed in several locations and guesthouses in western Africa, and One World Village is definitely our favourite.
Place is clean, beautiful, safe and well maintained.
The garden is absolutely amazing with green lawn and all kind of fruit trees (mango, grapefruit, bananas, papaya, grapefruit, lemon…) and other plants too. What could be better start for a day than have your breakfast, fresh fruits, eggs, coffee and freshly baked local baquette, “Tapalapa”, from a shop on the corner, sitting under palm tree by the pool, feeling and smelling that breeze coming from the ocean? Hard to beat.
Beach and restaurant area are both only minutes walk from the guest house, as are some bigger hotels with good wifi if you need to get connected.</br>
Shared kitchen has everything needed for cooking, and living room inside is spacious, with separated dining area.
Garden is surrounded by high walls, and is totally safe. Staff is friendly and reliable.
Sunbeds are available, and there is a very good choice of books in the small library too.
If there is a problem, like bulp gone or fan not working, the staff actually calls someone to repair it within a day. This is something that is not so common in other places we have stayed before.
In all, we warmly recommend One World Village guest house to anyone who likes to spend their holiday rather in more family like enviroment than crowded hotels.

Dear Aita!
My daughter and I felt much at home at the One World Village Guesthouse in Bakau!
I wanted to let you know that we appreciated the very nice house and garden because it was a great place to stay!
My daughter loved the near beach, so it was wonderful to be able to walk there within a few minutes. But we also used the pool a few times, which was great.
Sheriff took very good care of us and Bilda kept everything clean, they were around all the time.
Your guest house is a lovely place, and I would recommend it to other visitors.
